Every Month I will be bringing you my tried and tested make up picks and reviewing them. This is my 10 picks for February. Flawless Skin for all Budgets.
My first Pick is Rimmel London Match Perfection
I have Combination Skin I really liked the coverage it gave. It didn’t show up patchy I do recommend if you have oily skin to use a powder instead. I really liked how it was long lasting and really good coverage it blended out the imperfections without being to noticeable. Overall I really liked this foundation. You can buy it from shops or here from Amazon.
The second pick is Revlon Colour Stay 24 Hour Foundation
I have read good reviews about this foundation so decided to give it a go. The bottle doesn’t come with a pump so you have to be careful especially in the mornings and you go spill half all over your make up table! You have to be careful when pouring as it can come out as runny and very fast. As coverage goes its very good but you have to work it into your skin its not a quick put on and out the door one. This is more of a going out foundation rather than a everyday one. It doesn’t suit everyone’s skin though but worth a try if you are looking for a good coverage for going out. You can buy in shops or here on Amazon
The 3rd pick is Revlon Colour Stay 2 in 1 Foundation
Generally I like to use liquid foundations as my skin is combination but i like the fact this one is 2 in 1. I applied the cream using a brush , I’m not mad on using sponges and was really impressed on how easily it blended and applied. The Coverage was very good also a medium to heavy, although it feels really light. It really did a good job of covering my imperfections. I really recommend this foundation. You can buy it in shops or here from Amazon
The 4th Pick is Wet n’ Wild Eyeshadow Trio
I loved the Colour Combo here and the three colors in the palette are marked as Brow bone, Crease and Eyelid respectively. The label on the back of the palette has an image depicting which portion of the eye is brow bone, crease and eyelid! This makes it very easy for an eye makeup beginner to know where each of these shadows should go on. The Brow bone shade is a shimmery silver color. This is the lightest shade in the palette and is great for highlighting under the brow and in the inner corner of the eye.
The Eyelid shade is a gorgeous shimmery grey. I love grey which totally brighten up the eyelid. The Crease shade is a pink shimmer. All the shadows in this trio have some amount of shimmer. I loved this trio and I recommend it. You can buy it from shops or here from Amazon.
The 5th Pick is Revlon Colorstay Overtime Lipcolour, Everlasting Rum
I bought this after reading some reviews, to be honest I am quite skeptical of Long lasting lipsticks but this really does last. It does take a little drying time compared to other lipsticks but wow it lasted a whole 12 hours and I just needed to reapply the gloss a few times to keep my lips moisturised. Very good value for money. You can buy it in shops or here at Amazon.
My 6th Pick is NYC Individual Eyes- Smokey Violet
I was after a long lasting bright eyeshadow palette so decided to try out this Smokey eyeshadow palette. The palette has a violet, mauve-lilac, a purple with some blue to it and a gleaming white for eyeshadow shade . It is perfect for everyday wear or if you are after a evening look it’s so versatile. The colours are smooth and the shimmery bronze is
it has a beautiful mix of warm neutrals that are smooth, well-pigmented and easy to wear. That shimmery lilac is one of my favourites. The Primer has a light, creamy texture and really helps the shadows to stay in place. The illuminator blends easy and both primer and illuminator doesn’t leave any glittery patches on the skin. A make up Must have. You can buy it in shops or here from Amazon.
My 7th Pick is Rimmel London Glam’eyes Day 2 Night Mascara.
I decided to try this out because I was after a day and night mascara and read good reviews about it. Tried Many Mascaras but this is a must have. It doesn’t clump your eyelashes and you can easily go from day to night look with it. You can buy it in shops or here from Amazon.
My 8th Pick is Maybelline SuperStay 24 Hour Lip Color
With my recent obsession with liquid lipsticks this definitely caught my eye. Unlike some liquid lipstick products this isn’t drying & also kiss proof. I recommend this COMPLETELY! Today I’ve worn this without any reapplication for 7 hours & it still looks fantastic, wonderful product. You can buy it in shops or here from Amazon.
My 9th pick is L’Oréal Infallible Lip Gloss For the Ladies 206
The Cream formulation is just amazing – non-sticky, feels light on the lips and very hydrating. With the creamy finish you get a good pigmentation. It’s a gloss but you can definitely see some colour on your lips. For the ladies is a beautiful shade – peachy colour with pink shimmer in it. This lip gloss is absolutely non-sticky and it’s quite hydrating. The only negative I can think about is that when you wipe it out you’re left with some glitter on your lips. When I wear it I don’t have any problem with it. This gloss smells kind of fruity – it smells of peach. I really love this another beauty must have. You can buy it in shops or here from Amazon.
My Final Pick is NYX Powder Blush – Peach
I was looking for a good blush that’s not to powdery so decided to try this one out. This Blush is a rosy pink its perfect for all skin types and a little goes a long way. It’s not as powdery as other brands blushes are and very easy to blend also. I used a brush to apply it lasted all day. I would recommend this another beauty must have. You can buy in shops or here from Amazon.
That’s my Monthly Beauty Review, thank you for reading and hope you have enjoyed.
