5 Easy Yoga poses


Easy yoga stretches for you to lose weight and feel great regardless of fitness level. I am only doing yoga a few months but do see a big improvement. Will be posting poses so you can join along and lets loose weight together.


One of the best stretches for stretching the hips. Many people carry tension in the hips so this is a good release. Your Arms can be wherever feels comfortable hold the right foot forward for 30 seconds then repeat on the other side.

Boat Pose

One of the best poses to lose weight because it directly works the tummy. Put your palms on the floor for balance raise legs first when you feel comfortable raise arms parallel to the floor. You can also move back if you feel its to easy for you. Your abs should burn if you are doing it right! Hold for 30 seconds.

Side Plank

Place your palms face down on the mat shoulder width apart and toes together. Tilt your feet to the left so your right foot is touching the mat and left foot is on top of the right. Shift your weight onto your right hand as you remove your left hand from the ground. Slowly lift your hand to the ceiling holding for 30 seconds.

Chair Pose

This is the Yoga version of a squat. Keep the feet together and the arms straight above you as you lower into a squatting position. Make sure you can see your feet in front of your knees, if you cant your knees are forward. Try to get your thighs as close as parallel to the floor. Hold for 30 seconds.

Child’s Pose

Normally in Yoga you finish with child’s pose. Bend the knees and sit lightly between the heels. Rest your forehead on the ground in front of you. The arms can be outstreched or behind you. Just focus on where is sore and take as long as you need.
